Dear Friends,
Having served a number of small churches as a United Methodist pastor, it eventually became quite apparent that we needed to integrate multimedia into our Sunday Service in order to reach the younger generation.
It is just that significant church experts urge!
Any hesitation introducing powerpoint to the service disappeared when even the older generation became enthusiastic. Overwhelmingly, all ages claimed the scripture came alive, the sermon became more meaningful, the words to the hymns were so much easier to follow……..
However, the many, many hours required to produce quality images were often prohibitive for this busy pastor. Therefore, I have decided to offer, free of charge, a powerpoint presentation appropriate for each Sunday’s liturgy to missionaries, students and small struggling churches. I would really appreciate a donation from churches that can afford to do so.
Before I entered seminary, Andover Newton Theological School in Boston, I was a designer for several prestigious firms.... ultimately owning my own firm. I love the creativity of interpreting the scripture visually. Nevertheless, I do hope that most pastors/churches will support this ministry. It is my prayer that this webpage will help bring the vitality and life to our churches that this new century demands.
There are costs involved in maintaining this site that need to be covered. I had no idea when I first began CHURCH PowerPoint. I am sure you will find the hours saved warrant it. I wish I could offer the service free to everyone, but am living on a very limited retirement income. As a single working Mom and independent business owner, health emergencies of my disabled child ate through savings very rapidly.
